Since its inception, the Druk Holding and Investments Limited (DHI) have made concerted efforts in strengthening corporate governance in its portfolio companies as well as to other relevant sectors in the country. DHI organized a one day International Corporate Governance seminar on 26th November 2016 at Temalinca, Thimphu as a part of DHI's continuous efforts to strengthen corporate governance in its group companies and corporate sector of Bhutan as a whole. 

The seminar was conducted by Mr. Kok Min Lim, a veteran and an expert on corporate governance with more than 50 years of experience in corporate sector. Mr. Lim is the immediate past Chairman and Honorary fellow of the Singapore Institute of Director (SID). He was the president of SID from 2001 to 2009 and then Chairman from 2009 to 2013. He is also a core member of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Asian CG Roundtable.

The seminar covered on the Experience and Lessons from Singapore, Corporate Governance Eco-System and on the role of Directors.  A total of 100 Senior Executives from DHI portfolio companies and SOEs under MOF attended the seminar.
