EPF Process

Applying for EPF

Besides providing training and mentoring, one of the critical elements of creating successful business enterprises is access to capital, especially equity capital. To address this concern, DHI developed an Entrepreneurship Promotion Fund (EPF), to provide equity and equity like capital to businesses started by BEGIN graduates who have completed the training with excellence and others who have already started a business, but need capital to make it grow to sizable scale. There are no guarantees/collaterals required in applying for the Fund. It is a pooling of fund with investment from DHI and Financial Institutions. Financing is available on competitive basis and predominantly on a promoter's attributes, ability to deliver, willingness to collaborate with the Fund and on viable business proposals with growth potential.
