Consultancy Services for the Amochhu Land Reclamation Project

DHI signed the consultancy service contract for the Amochhu Land Reclamation and Township Development Project with Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited, (IL&FS) India on 16th December 2010.

IL&FS IDC with over 250 committed professionals are part of the IL&FS Group with over 4000 dedicated high-potential personnel and is well positioned at the cutting edge of the infrastructure sector. They have a high range of experience across all sectors in the infrastructure space. The IL&FS group has been responsible for many large infrastructure projects in India including the ongoing Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Project and the GIFT City in Gujarat.

IL&FS IDC will be responsible for developing the concept and framework for implementation of the proposed Amochhu Land Reclamation and Township Development on a PPP framework. It will also include development of a high level masterplan, a technical and economic feasibility, legal and regulatory frameworks, quality assurances, environmental and social impacts to ensure the optimum structuring of the project in line with the national priorities.

The consultants will also be responsible for preparing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for potential investors and assist DHI in attracting investors and the bid management process. The consultancy works is expected to last around 10 months and will commence from 3 January 2011.
