Dasho Ugen Chewang is the current Chairman of DHI. Dasho Ugen Chewang started his career in 1979 and served the civil service for more than two decades. He served as the Auditor General for more than nine years from December 2005 to July 2015. His Majesty awarded him the red scarf and title of Dasho on the 104th National Day in 2011.
Mr. Nim Dorji
Mr. Nim Dorji is the current Secretary of Ministry of Finance. He received his Master's in Business Administration from the University of Canberra, Australia. He joined DHI Board from 21st July 2016 and serves as Non-Independent Non-Executive Director on DHI Board.
Mr. Pema Chewang
Mr. Pema Chewang is the Secretary of National Land commission of Bhutan. He received his Master's in Development Economics from Australian National University, Canberra, Australia and Bachelor's of Arts from Sherubtse College. He serves as Independent Non-Executive Director on DHI Board.
Mr. Thinley Namgyel
Mr. Thinley Namgyel served as Chief Planning Officer at Gross National Happiness Commission Secretariat in 2010 and then served as Director. Currently he serves as Secretary for the same organization since 2016. Before that, Mr. Namgyel served at various important positions in Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Trade and Industry. He also served a year as Researcher at His Majesty's Secretariat in 2010 and Short-Term Consultant at World Bank, Washington DC in 2002. Mr. Namgyel is on Board of various agencies and organizations including Royal Monetary Authority, E-Gov Executive Committee, Gross National Happiness Centre and National Census Steering Committee. With bachelor's degree in Commerce from Sherubtse College in 1988, Mr. Namgyel has master's degree in Business Administration from University of Canberra, Australia (1995).
Mr. Kinga Tshering
Mr. Kinga Tshering is a former Member of Parliament in the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Bhutan, and completed his mid-career, Masters in Public Administration (MPA) at the Harvard Kennedy School in 2017. He has experience in national legislation and politics, organization building and restructuring in the energy sector with state enterprises like the Bhutan Power Corporation (BPC), Bhutan Electricity Authority (BEA), and Druk Holding and Investments (DHI). He also has experience in the financial sector, banking, energy and infrastructure projects in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer and a Board Member.
Mr. Dechen Dorji
Mr. Dechen Dorji is WWF's Country Representative for Bhutan. Prior to joining the WWF, he served as a Public Policy Researcher in the areas of social and welfare assistance for disadvantaged communities and students under His Majesty's Secretariat office. He has a Bachelors (hons) degree in Forestry from University of Wales, UK and a Master of Environmental Management degree from Yale University, USA. He started his career in the Forestry departments as a forestry and environment management planner. At the end of 1996, he moved to Khangma, Trashigang for 7 years to work on the World Bank, SDC and IFAD funded regional forestry and agriculture development project covering the six eastern Dzongkhags. Mr. Dorji is also the Founding Director of Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment based in Bumthang, a project initiated as a tribute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests during the Centenary Celebrations of the monarchy in 2008.
Dasho Karma Yezer Raydi
Dasho Karma Yezer Raydi is the Chief Executive Officer of the Druk Holding and Investments Ltd. He received his Master's in Geotechnical Engineering, from Nippon Institute of Technology, Saitama, Japan and Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, from University of Roorkee, India. He serves as Non Independent Executive Director on DHI Board.
