Ms Thinley Lham is the promoter of Wangchuk Group of Hotels and Resorts.

She was one of the founders of the National Woman's Association and had implemented income generating projects in 5 dzongkhags in Bhutan.

From 1985-1990, she represented BCCI as the executive member to the SAARC for a period of two years. She was also a member of the Board of Directors of Bhutan National Bank for two terms. From 1990-1992, she was trained to be a trainer as a consultant for entrepreneurship development. She had compiled entrepreneur identification and selection manual, a trainer- consultant handbook, personal entrepreneurial characteristics and motivation manual and an industrial extension manual. She had also visited SME incubation centers at Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. In the year 2000, she had completed training on fabrics and received a second place project award in Retail Buying and Management Seminar.

She is the Founder member of the Hotel Association of Bhutan and served as a member of the Board of Director from 2010-2012. She also served as a member of the tourism council during the same period.
