Inviting applicants for DHI BizAP Digital Skill-Up Freelancing Program

Recognizing the Nation’s digital aspirations to harness the power of ICT to transform into a smart and inclusive society, the DHI BizAP Digital Skill-Up program is designed to contribute to this end.
Almost 50% of previous participants received paid internship opportunities with local/international companies and 4 are now employed full-time with Foreign Companies and are working remotely! Next time, this could be you!
DHI in partnership with the Forward School, Malaysia, will provide a fully funded freelancing program to include:
· Training: The training phase focuses on imparting practical skills to ready you to venture into the Freelancing world. This critical phase focuses on giving minimum three digital literacy skills (web development, app development and digital marketing) that the participant will try to sell on the freelancing market. Selected applicants will undergo 12 sessions (6-8 hours a week) which is spread over 5 to 6 weeks.
· After-Care Support: After the training, in order to see through the early phase of venturing into the freelancing world, promising graduate trainees will be provided opportunities to remotely intern and work with local and foreign firms. Access to experts will be made available. Access to essential infrastructure for freelancing will be provided. These shall be provided for up to one month.
· Only 25 promising candidates will be competitively selected based on DHI selection. Candidates are encouraged to apply early to avoid last minute rush. It is observed that many previous applicants have missed the opportunity by keeping applications to the last submission date.
· The application opens from 22nd March 2022 and closes on 3rd May 2022 at 5pm.

You will need to submit the link to finish your Application Form.
