As part of DHI’s broader digital transformation journey, and through the RISE with SAP initiative—a comprehensive offering that supports businesses in transitioning to cloud-based ERP—DHI has adopted SAP, a leading enterprise software used to integrate and manage core business functions.

Under this initiative, the RISE-a DHI project successfully conducted a four-day Fit-to-Standard workshop from April 14 to 17, 2025, with the participation of over 100 professionals from across DHI group companies.

This workshop marks a key milestone in aligning DHI’s business operations with SAP’s global best practices to build a more agile, integrated, and future-ready enterprise platform. Led by the DHI project team in collaboration with implementation partner Thimphu TechPark Ltd., the workshop focused on validating and harmonizing core business processes across six key functional areas: Finance, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, Human Capital, and Asset Management.

Over the course of the workshop, participants collaborated to:

• Evaluate existing processes against SAP’s best-practice templates

• Identify and document functional gaps

• Achieve alignment on standardization across business units

• Prepare for the upcoming system configuration and testing phase

With this foundational step complete, DHI now enters the Realize phase—where the focus will be on configuring and testing processes within SAP S/4HANA to support enhanced operational efficiency, transparency, and innovation across its portfolio companies.

This initiative reflects DHI’s long-term commitment to building a robust digital ecosystem that strengthens Bhutan’s corporate sector and positions it for the future.
